Forever I wanted long thick hair, wavey hair. I went through a phase of wanting ice blonde white hair. I would obsess and obsess over it. I’ve learned we always want what we can’t have. The past 6 months or so I’ve really been trying to focus on creating the best of what I have naturally. Instead of wishing for and lusting after something my hair just can’t do, I’ve embraced my hair and really tried to figure out what makes it look its best as is and tried to learn styles that really are flattering for me. (short hair coming soon?)
What does this have to do with eye makeup you ask? Forever I always wished I had blue eyes. I’ve always wanted colored contacts because blue or green eyes just really pop and are so unique. Well as with my hair, I’ve tried to learn makeup tricks to make my brown eyes pop and bring out the colors in them. Find out my secret below and scroll down to the bottom for full makeup details!
My secret weapon is the NYX Slide On Eye Pencil. I’ve actually had this eyeliner in my makeup collection for a while but never really used it much until recently. When doing my eye makeup, I put this liner right on my lower waterline, right above the lashes. The liner is water proof so it stays all day there and doesn’t bleed or smudge everywhere. The shade I use is Golden Bronze which has a more copper undertone and really brings out the red tones in my eyes and makes them pop. They have a bunch of different shades so you can find one thats right for you depending on the tones of your brown eyes!
